This role is especially well-suited for a seasoned therapist who values quality over quantity, nervous-system-informed care, and working within an ethical, respectful environment. There is long-term potential for growth and leadership for the right fit as Salt & Sage expands, including future opportunities connected to our upcoming McCormick location.

This is a solo-practitioner-style position within a shared studio environment. With no receptionist, therapists guide the full client experience from start to finish, allowing for continuity of care, autonomy in treatment, and meaningful client relationships.
You’ll be responsible for welcoming clients, conducting intakes, providing customized massage sessions, and offering warm, grounded hospitality throughout each visit, including check-out and rebooking. The pace is intentional, and support systems are in place so you can focus on your work rather than logistics.
Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver high-quality, customized massage sessions
Conduct client intakes and maintain accurate SOAP notes
Create and maintain a calm, clean, and welcoming treatment space
Manage check-in, check-out, and light studio upkeep
Offer thoughtful recommendations for treatments, add-ons, or self-care tools
Requirements:
Valid Washington State Massage License
Confident, intuitive, and professional touch
Reliable, punctual, and emotionally grounded
Comfortable working independently within a shared space
Aligned with a calm, client-centered, and intentional approach to care
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time: 2–3 days per week
$20/hour for all scheduled working hours
Commission on massage services ranging from 25–40%, based on experience
100% of tips go directly to the therapist
Commission calculated on service price (pre-tax)
All booking, laundry, linens, oils, and supplies provided
Growth & Longevity:
Therapists demonstrating strong clinical presence and team leadership may be considered for lead therapist roles or expanded responsibilities at additional locations.
